David Y

David Y is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, venture capital, sales, and education. As an 8-time founder with 2 successful exits, he has built three $20M+ ARR businesses, secured more than $300M in venture capital, and created $10B+ opportunities between Asia and the US.

Currently, as General Partner at Ethos Fund, David leverages his entrepreneurial background and executive expertise to support innovative ventures, with a focus on fostering collaboration between Vietnam and the US. His passion lies in bridging cultures and driving growth through strategic investments.

In addition to his venture work, David has held leadership roles in some of the world's top EdTech companies, including CEO of Riiid Labs, Head of Asia for ACT.org, and Managing Director for K12.com. This extensive experience has provided him with a deep understanding of international education, curriculum development, and the transformative power of technology in learning.

Outside of his professional achievements, David has dedicated over 20 years to volunteering and contributing to global human capital development. He holds board positions with the World Mathematical Olympiad (WMO), Stanford SMILE, and the Gifted And Talented Silicon Valley Institute (GATSVI).
